mini mees for community groups

Our community arts development workshops are powerful and engaging for any community group. Participants are encouraged to nurture their mini mees. This process has exceptional mental health benefits as participants learn to embrace their uniqueness in this challenging but very achievable activity.

In a series of innovative workshops designed by The Book Incubator, creating your own Mini Mee is an opportunity for your clients to tell their stories through a three dimensional medium. Using polymer clays they will learn how to sculpt a miniature version of themselves. These workshops are lots of fun, challenging and an opportunity for people to accept and connect with their uniqueness. Starting with a lump of clay and some wire you will be amazed at how quickly your clients create miniatures of themselves that "come to life".

These workshops are of particular value to anyone with low self esteem issues, but are wonderful for anyone!

Please contact us directly so that we can work together to create a series of workshops that will be of most benefit to your community group.

Public Workshops In our friendly small group workshops you may find yourself giggling a lot as you learn the process of creating an armature, adding clay and sculpting a miniature of yourself. Please be sure to check our workshop schedule to find out when the next public workshop is available.

Facilitator Workshops Our facilitator workshops are designed to provide Community Care Workers and teachers with an insight into our programs and a hands on trial of the activities that their students and clients will engage in through our workshops. By experiencing the process teachers are in a position to greatly impact the outcomes. The facilitator workshop is a hands on full day session where you wil take home a mini mini mee of your own.
