About the author Gordon d’Venables was born and grew up in country Australia. He spent time in the Army, was a teacher, dabbled in politics and practiced and taught law. Nothing remarkable he says, but all of the above took him to various parts of the globe and rewarded him with some special experiences. . About the book Rhys Curtis is a decorated soldier, an agent for ASIO and Interpol. He is charged with the responsibility of preventing the assassination of a woman with aspirations to political leadership. A role that takes him to several countries in search of the truth. Curtis believes there are targets in more than one country. Possibly an international network of fanatics determined to weaken democracy. Fanatics determined to ensure women never take leadership positions. Two images haunt him. An image from his childhood and an image crossing several countries that appears to be a symbol of aggression, a symbol worshipped by misogynists.
